I came to The Washington Informer Newspaper from a DC Government Agency called Project ​Empowerment for single mothers. I've been with The Washington Informer family for almost 20 years. I've seen many great people come through the doors to be a part of The Washington Informer Newspaper family. One of the great pleasure of working with the paper besides getting the scoop on what gong on in our city, was the flexibility of my working hours, especially when my three children were smaller. I don't think I would've made this far without The Washington Informer especially with an asthma child, when I had to take days off of work to take care of my son.
