Three former high school football players, Khyree Jackson, Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr., were killed in a traffic accident on Pennsylvania Avenue in Upper Marlboro, with the Minnesota Vikings mourning the loss of Jackson and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte mourning the loss of Hazel.
