Bishop C.M. Bailey, a career-long minister of the United House of Prayer, was honored with a motorcade into five cities and a national funeral in Washington, D.C., where he was remembered for his dedication to Christ-focused preaching and dedication to the UHOP organization.

Roy Lewis was born on July 24 1937 in Natchez Mississippi. Lewis earned his high school diploma in 1956 from Sadie V. Thompson High School where he was member of the Football Team and Choir. He also started working for a Black Newspaper in High School. He moved to Chicago Ill in 1956 and started working for Johnson Publishing Company in the Subscription department and Freelance Photography. His first picture was published in Jet Magazine in 1974 of Thelonius Monk, and covered Marchs, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Jazz Festivals and Art Events. Lewis moved to Washington DC in 1973 and began working with local Media Companies, and working on his Master of Art Degree from Antioch College, Working Film When we were King Film in Zaire Africa in 1974, started on one of his books "River Road" that travel the U S as a Photography Exhibition. Some of Lewis clients PNBC, NAACP, Washington Informer Newspaper, CBCF, Marchs, Staff of WHMM TV at Howard University. Lewis started working on his " Everywhere with Roy Lewis" Book and Exhibition in 2008, that is traveling around America. His current Job working for the Washington Informer Newspaper started in 1990.
